West Louisville Competitive
The inaugural West Louisville Soccer Boys and Girls competitive teams hit the pitch for the Fall 2023 season. In the Fall of 2024, West Louisville Soccer Club grew to include 4 teams in 3 different age groups, (U11 – U13), all competing in the Kentucky Select Soccer League (KSSL). In just their first season in the KSSL, West Louisville Soccer Club’s U12 Boys teams finished the season as CHAMPIONS of their KSSL Division!
Participants for our competitive teams were identified through tryouts and following their participation in our spring recreation league and their participation in our summer training sessions. Participants were selected based upon their enthusiasm for the game, their commitment to attending trainings, their attitudes with coaches and teammates, and their demonstrated improvement in their play.
West Louisville Soccer expects those players selected to embody the core values of our club : DISCIPLINE on and off the field, RESPECT for self, family, teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents, a commitment to SELF IMPROVEMENT, each and every day, and being POSITIVE examples of the potential for greatness that lies West Louisville.
Our competitive teams train and play their home games at the world class Louisville Urban League/Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Campus located in the heart of West Louisville at 3029 West Muhammad Ali Blvd.

West Louisville Recreation
West Louisville Soccer takes great pride in providing access to the game of soccer to boys and girls living in and attending school in West Louisville. For many of our participants, playing in our Recreational league is the first opportunity that they have had to participate in organized sports.
In the Spring of 2024, West Louisville Soccer partnered with Jefferson County Public Schools and Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation for its Spring Recreation League. Participation was open to boys and girls in good academic standing attending JCPS elementary schools located in West and Southwest Louisville and included participants from over 20 elementary schools!
West Louisville Soccer is excited to add additional schools/teams for our Spring 2025 campaign. West Louisville Soccer provides coaches along with all necessary equipment to each participating school. All participants receive a jersey, socks, and training 1-2 times per week.
Trainings take place directly after school at the participants’ school and games are played on Saturdays at Russell Lee Park located at 3701 Southern Avenue.
The season concludes with a season ending tournament hosted at the Louisville City/Racing Louis
