In the spring of 2023, West Louisville Soccer partnered with Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation providing the mentoring along with the opportunity to learn and play soccer to over 150 boys and girls at NO COST to the participants and their families. All participants were provided jerseys and socks. West Louisville Soccer also provided cleats and shin guards to any participant unable to provide their own. Most importantly, all participants were provided coaching, mentorship and an opportunity to participate and compete in an activity that might change their lives.
Fall 2022 Highlights
During the fall of 2022, over 70 boys and girls participated in West Louisville Soccer’s inaugural recreational league. Each participant received training from former collegiate and professional soccer players, along with mentoring from elected officials and local business leaders.
